"This Angry Pen of Mine" is a book on Alice in Chains frontman, Layne Staley, published by Weldon Owen, distributed by Simon & Schuster. The book contains pages of writing, childhood belongings, his own art, fan art and more. I was tasked with bringing a mobile photo studio set up to the home of Layne's mother here in the Pacific Northwest. Over forty of my photos were used in the book, which landed on the New York Times Best Sellers list its first week. It was an absolute joy and honor to be a part of this project.
