This Angry Pen of Mine: Recovering the Journals of Layne Staley is a 2025 book on the objects, art and writing of Alice in Chains frontman Layne Staley. I took a few dozen photos for this book, published by Weldon Owen and Insight Editions.

While most of my time is spent designing, Photography plays a role in my everyday life and I'm often photographing for clients like Captain Whidbey, Westland Distillery, Insight Editions, Ebbets Field Flannels—and of course for Porchlight.
From album covers to posters and a website, I've designed plenty for the guys in Death Cab For Cutie, as well as lead singer Ben Gibbard.
