A few years back, I had the pleasure of being the illustrator for Microsoft Windows' "Dream Big" shoot here in Seattle. Some really charming second graders were asked the question all kids are eventually asked: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and then chose any combination of outfits and professions (see: Space Ninja) they pleased while the crew photographed and interviewed them. The entire project was incredibly fun, the kids were very sweet and to top it off I got to draw puppies, baseballs and spaceships.
The task at hand was essentially creating custom clip art days before the shoot so that we could drag and drop my illustrations onto photos of the costumed kids. There was also some post-production work to add my illustrations to the commercial you see below.
Since then I've continued to work with Microsoft, designing and producing enamel pins for use within the company.
